Formal Garden opening soon
From 10 July visit our Formal Garden just behind Marwell Hall and travel in time with our ancient tree trail.
Volunteer this summer
With a host of special events coming up this summer there are plenty of ways to get involved at Marwell. Lend a hand to some of our craft activities, talk to visitors as they walk around the park or help run some of our out of park events. To find out more please contact David or Julie in our volunteers office.
Picnic in the park
Friday 9 July is your once a year opportunity to make the most of our wonderful park after hours. Bring a picnic and your Annual Pass to enter from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
Przewalski's horse foals!
Our herd has grown again! The first new born foal arrived on 19 April. We’ve named him Doloo, meaning seven, which follows our tradition of naming our horses with Mongolian numbers. Number eight, Naim, a female, followed on 27 May and Es, a male, was born on 14 June.
Planning your summer
Be sure to plan your visit by checking our fantastic events line up including: FLIGHT weeks, Wood is Good, Mother Africa, Recycling week and the Worlds largest Annual Wildlife Art Fair! |
