New live video webcams
We've set up two new cameras in the park giving you sweeping views of the tapir, pygmy hippo and rhino paddocks and the chance to see our ring tailed coatis forage and play.
Take the free bus from Eastleigh
We have teamed up with The Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership and One Community, an independent charity providing voluntary transport services in the borough of Eastleigh, to resume our FREE bus service. The service will run on Sundays and Bank Holidays from Eastleigh rail station between the 2 May and the 26 September 2010
High flying support
On 2 May Rowan Austin will be jumping out of a plane over Memphis, Tennessee to raise funds for Marwell. This is no ordinary skydive as the plane will be cruising at 30,000 feet! At the last count he'd raised over £1,100.
Marwell Wildlife 10K and Fun Run
A big thank you to all who have registered for the Marwell 10k which takes place on Sunday 23 May 2010. We have sold out of adult places although we still have spaces left for the Fun Run.

Baby giraffe
We're celebrating the birth of our first pure bred Rothschild giraffe since 1997. Our keepers have named the new addition Nsia, which means ‘the sixth born child’ in Akan, a language spoken in Ghana, west Africa. Pronounced ‘nseeah’, the name is very apt as she is the sixth calf born to her mother, Matilda.
FLIGHT Extravaganza
Celebrate Southampton Airport's centenary of flight this May Day Bank Holiday weekend with us. Enter our FREE FLIGHT Competition for the chance to win 4 return seats on a Flybe flight,a remote control plane and much more. Fun for all the family with talks and crafts throughout the day!
